On Friday, September 16, the inaugural Poet Laureate of Dallas, Joaquín Zihuatanejo, will kick off the Institute’s new “Lyric Hour” series with readings of his recent work. Local mixologist Millie Watkins provides the drinks: together, expect an evening full of magic! Drink in the spirit of poetry at the Dallas Institute! Enjoy a craft cocktail or a mocktail inspired by the poet’s words during this evening of spoken word poetry.
