Young Leaders Strong City hosts place-based learning experience and discussion for high school students about The Accommodation

As part of Big D Reads, join us for a place-based learning experience for high school students curated by Young Leaders Strong City. Participants will have the opportunity to learn, explore, and discuss historically significant markers and people mentioned in The Accommodation. Participants will make connection to the text and also explore under told local narratives, gain exposure to historical exploration techniques, and make connections to current day.

Space is limited to 30 high school students, so sign up today. A Student waiver form is required. Breakfast and snacks will be provided.
